The Vicki Soto Memorial Fund is proud to announce its latest initiative in supporting education, funding 25 classroom projects through DonorsChoose with a total of $4,200 in classroom aid this week. These projects, selected from schools across the country, will provide students with essential learning materials and resources to enhance their educational experience.
Each year, the Vicki Soto Memorial Fund donates approximately $15,000 to classroom projects on DonorsChoose, a nonprofit that connects public school teachers with donors to fund much-needed classroom supplies. Teachers use the platform to request resources such as books, technology, and educational tools, ensuring their students have the materials they need to thrive. Once fully funded, DonorsChoose purchases and ships the items directly to the classrooms.
Our mission is to continue Vicki's legacy by empowering teachers and enriching students’ learning environments. When you register for the Vicki Soto 5K, you’re directly contributing to these efforts and making a meaningful difference in classrooms nationwide.
